Conics Team Day Out 2019
Last week we had our yearly team day out with Conics. The perfect way to get to know everyone a bit better in a different environment. Nothing beats a good portion of stress hormones to really unleash everyone’s inner self, we figured.
Hence, our first visit was to the Biover climbing walls of “BLEAU” at the Blaarmeersen, Ghent. With walls as high as 16m and beyond, we silently hummed “To boldly go, where no one (really no one?) has gone before. A fun, exciting and low profile venue, a real must do! Kudos to the Bleau team for the friendly reception and proper guidance!
After the frightening reality of climbing, we tossed ourselves into the virtual reality of “The Park”. Thanks folks for having great fun with me walking down the pirate’s board… Let the real games begin, so busting out the virtual hostages was what we came for. Let’s say we succeeded some of the times…
Finally, we ended the day with a nice diner at “B’Artiest” in Ieper. In the presence of our “plus ones” the heoric tales of the day became bigger, more frightening and crazier than ever before… The final goal of impressing the home front was, well, let’s say a mixed succes as well…
Thanks to everyone for fully committing themselves to the activities, you made the day fantastic! Now what to do next time…
