Conics Team Day Out 2024 !

Last week, the annual Conics Team Day Out took place, hosted by two of our most precious developers. This year’s activities were filled with brain-teasing elements!

The day kicked off with a screen-printing workshop at Printclinic in Kortrijk, where we explored our creative side. Together, we learned about the screen-printing process, from creating clichés and mixing inks to handling printing tools. Inspired by the innovative future of the printing industry, we designed our own team T-shirts and bags using AI-assisted designs that truly reflect the Conics spirit.

Afterwards, we headed to a secret hideout for lunch, which was also the location for our next activity: the “Conics Dev-Game.” As competition is key to creating great products, Conics split into two teams, MeggAtear and ConneggZ, and competed in a “dev-match” featuring seven rounds: Estimation – Todo – Dev – Staging – Go Live – Support – Bugs. Each round presented us with challenges that mirror the obstacles and ironies our developers encounter in their daily work.

We ended the day at De Parazaar restaurant, gathered around one table for a cozy dinner, sharing stories and laughter…
