Yesterday, our annual Team Day Out took place once again. We discovered new facets of our employees and also pushed our boundaries once more. Nature & adventure, as well as relaxation and camaraderie, were central to our outing.
We began our day with outdoor adventures in the picturesque Zuienkerke. Amidst fresh air and a little bit of mud, we embraced the challenges and built stronger bonds within our team. We glided gracefully over beams, we tore through the mud, we shuffled awkwardly over the water (blindfolded, no less!), and we crept swiftly under ropes. Like a bunch of young does with rheumatism, we ultimately managed to complete all the trials successfully.
After our exciting team-building activity, we satisfied our hunger with a delicious lunch at Café Pistolet. We washed down our sandwiches with a refreshing Brugse Zot or Straffe Hendrik: an educational visit to the Halve Maan brewery in Bruges boosted our culture levels: 1, 2, 3, Beer!
As the eyelids were already showing a slight downward trend (especially due to the morning efforts!), it was time for concentration and action: Annelies put us to the test with a photo scavenger hunt through Bruges, which was lovely... about two hours later, the historical city centre held no secrets for the Conics members. Over the Peerdenbrug, past café Vlissinghe, towards the Pevelenberg with Jan Breydel, Sint-Anna, and many others...
As the sun began to set, we decided to end our day with a lovely dinner at Tom's Diner, where we shared stories, laughed together, and forged plans for 'Future Projects'.
Cheers, to the adventures we have shared and will continue to share… Cheers!
